Conduct an In-Plant Part Design Course before NPE, get a FREE Part Design Analysis

Part Design Analysis provides design and product engineers with an option to quickly analyze how their part design will perform before cutting the mold—this greatly reduces cost, waste, and time to market. We will conduct a detailed analysis on solidification/thermal, fill, pack, and warp as well as provide in-depth consultation services. This includes:

  • TZERO® Design consultation through the use of Moldex3D®, Sigmasoft®, or Autodesk® Moldflow® engineering services
  • Detailed reports and sensor location recommendations
  • Content for your Part Design class
  • A one-hour web meeting consultation

We will work in collaboration with you to make recommendations based on key product requirements, including product usage and function. This provides value for your customized part design class with your application.

Sensor Evaluator Updates - Now Available on Google Play

We recently published the newest free software update for the sensor evaluator to the Google Play® store. The update includes the following:

  • Ability to test the 6mm Strain Gage Sensor.
  • Ability to select the sensor model number for each sensor.
  • Tablet report function now displays the sensor model number chosen.

Note: The software will update automatically if the device is connected to WiFi.

Changes are coming for the
Lynx Indicator Light Tree

The Lynx Indicator Light Tree is a machine mountable, visual process indicator. This simple-to-install product allows the status of a running molding machine to be clearly viewed from a distance on the plant floor. It is designated to be used with the eDART® software to indicate if your process is running within its preset limits.

RJG will be eliminating the 24DC and 120AC models of the Lynx Indicator Light Tree. Moving forward we will only offer the 12DC Lynx Light Tree (LT3-L) effective the first quarter of 2018.

New RJG Training Location in Corona, California

RJG has partnered with Engel Machinery West in Corona, CA to offer an array of RJG training classes. This is RJG's latest training location and part of a plan to expand the variety of classes we offer on the west coast. New course dates will be added soon. Check our training schedule for updates!


RJG now offers Autodesk®/ Moldflow® training

RJG is now offering Autodesk® / Moldflow® training as an online or in-plant option. This training provides attendees with the knowledge to become efficient at creating digital prototypes, running analysis and interpreting the results. You will also learn how to do fill, pack, cooling, and warpage analyses, evaluate an injection molded part for manufacturability, interpret CAD geometry for runners and cooling lines, and learn how to evaluate your simulation results to insure the results are reliable.

The classes will be available in English and Spanish. Public course options will be added to our training calendar later this year.

Math for Molders elearning

RJG's Math for Molders elearning class provides foundational math skills practice to prepare molders for process development, troubleshooting, and machine testing that are included in the more advanced RJG courses.

Ana Maria Marin

Ana Maria joined RJG as a TZERO® Consultant/Trainer and will be located at our Woodstock, GA office. With over 20 years in the plastics industry, specializing in plastics processing simulation, she has provided technical instruction and information design services focused on process simulation / CAE / FEA plastics engineering applications to more than 1,300 customers. Ana Maria had significant involvement in the development of the Autodesk® / Moldflow® training curriculum, and collaborated on the development of the Autodesk® / Moldflow® Certification Program. Ana Maria is bilingual and will deliver instruction in both English and Spanish.

Chris Bryan

Chris joined RJG as a trainer for Canada. He brings with him over 25 years’ experience in injection molding. His years in the industry have provided Chris with considerable knowledge in all aspects, from mold design through to tool launch and process optimisation. Chris completed the RJG Master Molder program, is a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, and he completed a four year apprenticeship as an injection molding process technician, earning him the first NVQ Level 3 in injection molding to be awarded in the UK.

Are Your eDART® Systems Running the Latest Version?

Version 10 eDART® System users can now download version 10.8.1 from our website. This update includes support for the new PZ/LX4F-S-ID hardware and 6 mm MCSG sensors.

Version 9 users can download version 9.4.3 Some improvements include support for the 6mm MCSG sensor and updated PZ/LX4F-S-ID piezo adapters.
