OA1-M

Lynx Analog Output Module  - Shielded

This isolated, analog output module can be used to interface with any sensor, or input, that accepts a 0-10V DC signal, like plastic and hydraulic pressure input cards. It can also be used as an external machine transfer.

Once mounted, the connectors allow the unit to be interfaced with other Lynx DIN rail modules and the eDART® System. Each machine panel installation of one or more DIN rail modules requires either an ID7-M-SEQ or a DIN/LX-D to terminate the DIN rail module chain.

Lynx Dual Relay Output Module  - Shielded

The dual contact closure output module is designed to be used with the eDART® System. The module's two dry contact outputs can also be configured to implement part containment or transfer a molding machine.

Once mounted, the connectors allow the unit to be interfaced with other Lynx DIN rail modules as well as the eDART System. Each machine panel installation of one or more DIN rail modules requires either an ID7-M-SEQ or a DIN/LX-D to terminate the DIN rail module chain.

This module accepts 0-10V DC signals from analog sensors and equipment in order to integrate them into the eDART® System. This din-rail module is shielded to ensure high quality data even in rugged molding environments. Examples of sensors that can be used with this module include: electric machine injection pressure, temperature, dew point, and plastic pressure.

Once mounted, the connectors allow the unit to be interfaced with other Lynx DIN rail modules and the eDART System. Each machine panel installation of one or more DIN rail module requires either an ID7-M-SEQ or a DIN/LX-D to terminate the DIN rail module chain.

LYNX MOLD IDENTIFIER

The ID/LX1-S Mold Identifier is a mold mountable identifying device that allows molds without cavity pressure sensors to utilize the mold identifying features of RJG’s eDART® System. By connecting directly into the Lynx™ sensor network, the Mold Identifier can prevent selection of the wrong mold at job start. It also frees the operator from having to manually select templates and setup data.

  • Enables the eDART System to automatically identify molds and load all setup information for a particular mold without cavity pressure sensors
  • Production is more efficient with automatically loaded templates and setup data
  • Maximum operating temperature is 140° F

Smartflow 1/2" NPT 2-40 LPM

This device is a simple flow meter to measure either the total input to the mold or to individual circuits. This can also be done with water temperature. When interfaced with the eDART® System, users can access and use data such as: excessive reject control, summary variables, template values, and summary and cycle values.

What you can do:

  • Determine if the water temperature control unit is delivering the correct temperature needed to make good parts
  • Reject parts if the flow or temperature doesn't meet your set requirements to make a good part
  • Create a template of the flow or water temperature
  • Overlay your GPM or temperature curves on the cycle graph
  • Set alarms around peak values of the flow or temperature of the coolant
  • Set excessive rejects to stop the machine if the flow or temperature of the coolant rejects parts more than your set thresholds

C-LX-SR-2M-M90 Slip Ring Connector

RJG’s Slip Ring Connectors allow molders with rotary table machines to install digital Lynx cavity pressure sensors without the common cabling impediment of rotational movement. Mounted directly to the rotary table, the slip ring allows for 360° rotation of the table while keeping cabling from becoming entwined. The RJG Lynx slip ring connectors allow eDART® System users to continuously receive information from up to 32 Lynx sensors mounted on rotary table molds.

Mold Mount Piezo Sensor Adapter

This sensor adapter allows standard piezoelectric sensors to be connected to the eDART® System. It accepts inputs from any piezoelectric cavity pressure sensor, scales the input signal from the sensor, and sends a digital cavity pressure signal to the eDART controller. Because this adapter is a self-identifying, digital sensor, the eDART will automatically ask the user for pertinent setup information.

Due to the piezo adapter's high resolution and low drift ratings, there is no need to switch ranges when changing sensors or applications. This simplifies the process when working with small pin sizes or applications with low pressures. The miniaturized mold mount housing that contains the unit is also much smaller than other piezoelectric sensor amplifiers on the market, allowing for easy installation on the mold, even if available space is limited.

Vaisala DRYCAP® Dewpoint Transmitter Interface

RJG offers an interface for customers using The Vaisala DRYCAP® Dewpoint Transmitter, which allows users to monitor dew point information via the eDART® System. Available versions include Vaisala DMT142 and Vaisala DMT143.

TRACER® Electronic Flowmeter

Measures liquid flow rate, temperature, calculates BTU's per minute, and Turbulent Flow. The highly-visible display is configured via the sealed push buttons and user-friendly menus.

eDART® users can interface to the eDART System via two analog input modules. One for water flow and one for water temperature.

Lynx Indicator Light Tree

The Lynx Indicator Light Tree is a machine mountable, visual process indicator that is available in voltages of 24 VDC and 120 VAC. This simple-to-install product allows the status of a running molding machine to be clearly viewed from a distance on the plant floor. It is designated to be used with the eDART® software to indicate if your process is running within its preset limits.

The process status is indicated by the colored light. A green light signifies the process is running within its preset limits. A yellow light means there is a potential problem and close inspection is recommended. The red light alerts plant floor personnel to a problem with the process that needs immediate attention.

The light tree provides molders with more freedom to tend to other projects on the plant floor while still keeping an eye on running jobs.

ID7 Tester

The ID7-Tester applies power to ID7-M-SEQ modules, which allows the installer to test for proper wiring without connecting the ID7-M-SEQ to an eDART® System.
