RJG's Train The Trainer Certification is designed for those who fully intend to instruct others in their organization on the methodologies and techniques learned in their Master Molder training. To be successful as trainers, candidates must have a strong DECOUPLED MOLDINGSM background and enough training experience to be comfortable in front of a classroom. The true value of this certification is that graduates gain not only world class processing knowledge, but the skills, tools and confidence to successfully pass this knowledge on to others in their company. This is a great advantage for anyone directly responsible for implementing a training program. The strategies, DECOUPLED MOLDINGSM techniques and implementation processes taught in RJG's Master Molder Certification Series are emphasized in this course, using an active learning model approach.

This is an intensive two weeks of training that requires a huge commitment from every student. They are required to teach others in the group daily to refine their training techniques. Each participant is evaluated daily by the instructor and entire class on their teaching skills, use of visual aides and interaction with the class. They are also required to develop training materials to support their learning objectives, including minimal purchases to aide in getting their content across to the students. Each participant will conduct a hands-on lab session that encourages student participation as well as reinforces safety standards.

It is important to notify RJG as soon as you decide to enroll in the course. A screening process for potential Train the Trainer candidates has been implemented that must be completed BEFORE candidates are accepted into the program. These prerequisites are in place to ensure only the top of the class Master Molder graduates move into this phase of certification.

The prerequisites that determine eligibility for this certification are:

  • Master Molder I & II scores of 80% or higher (to qualify to teach Systematic Molding I)
  • Master Molder I & II scores of 90% or higher (to qualify to teach Master Molder I)
  • Submission of an audition tape of you conducting a technical training session
  • An brief outline of your projected training plan for your company

RJG's Master MolderSM certification program is recognized as a standard in the injection molding industry, with employers listing Master Molder Certification as part of job requirements, and employees using their certification for job advancement and career promotion. The success of the Master Molder program is attributable in large part to the rigorous nature of the program, and to the high standards that were applied in issuing certifications. The Train The Trainer certification is meant to allow “best of the best” from the Master Molder program to train others within their own company.
