RJG Certified Tryout ShopsThe foundation of the Certification is our Systematic Molding for Mold Builders & Tooling Engineers course held at the mold builder's facility. This provides their designers and mold builders an understanding of plastic processing and how it relates to part and mold design. They must also retain an RJG-Certified Master Molder in-house and hold a 2-day in-plant Rigorous Mold Tryout workshop. Certified Tryout Shops are progressive companies interested in taking their unfair advantage to the next level by incorporating Ready-To-Go Molds into the injection molding industry. Making a mold "Ready-To-Go" can be defined as: challenging the design of the mold early, correctly selecting sensor location, correctly installing sensors, performing rigorous mold tryouts for validation/PPAP, setting up a robust process and saving it as a process template. These mold builders utilize eDARTs and can produce a universal mold that can virtually be placed in any appropriate machine at any location. The goal is to set the mold up on cycle by the least qualified technician and make the FIRST SHOT into production a verified good part. We believe that, in these globally competitive times, to stay competitive it is critical for Mold Builders & Tryout Shops to align themselves with molders/OEMs who utilize the same technologies and communication through education and training from part design through production. RJG has developed a full range of marketing strategies that were designed to support these mold builders’ marketing and sales efforts. We send out a mass press release to all the periodicals in the industry and related associations. The certified companies are posted on our website with links to their sites. We have placed a clearly marked literature rack in a high traffic area so seminar attendees and visitors to RJG can take individual brochures. RJG actively contacts our molding customers, informing them about Ready-to-Go Molds and certified shops. Finally, we have put together a personalized custom 32-slide PowerPoint presentation on the value of certification for Certified Tryout shops to present to their customers. This presentation is based on their individual accomplishments and business nuances that sets them apart and makes each a world-class company. To become an RJG Certified Tryout Shop click here.
